Putting our members and employees first
As the impact of the coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to grow in our nation, we would like to express our unwavering dedication to serving our members during this time. Olean Teachers’ and Postal Federal Credit Union have alternative, safe ways of providing our services. (Drive-thru window, night drop, home banking, telephone and Visa Debit/Credit Flex Card.)
Contacting the Credit Union
When visiting the Credit Union, please use the drive-thru window. To protect our members and our staff from the spread of the coronavirus, effective Thursday, March 19, 2020 we will be closing the office lobby to general traffic.
However, our drive-thru window will remain open! The drive-thru hours of operation will be 9:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. Monday through Friday. For services that require meeting in person with one of our representatives, we ask that you call (716)373-0155 for an appointment. Loan Applications can be filled out and sent through Home Banking. Appointments can be set up for loan processing.
Your direct deposits, automatic payments, debit card transactions, etc. will not be affected by the lobby closure. We encourage members to utilize our Home Banking. If you have our Visa Debit/Credit Flex Card you can use Olean Area’s ATM with no surcharge. You can telephone to transfer funds within your accounts here at the Credit Union. We have a night drop box. We have staff members that can operate remotely if necessary.
We will closely monitor and act upon the guidance from the CDC and local health officials and will provide updates as we adjust our plans regarding COVID-19.
Please do not allow the closing of our lobby to be a barrier to your reaching out to us with any needs you may have. We are here to assist you and help in any way we can. It is our privilege to have you as a member, for which we thank you sincerely.
With these difficult times we wanted to assure you that your money is safe with the Credit Union. Your funds are federally insured to at least $250,000.00 and backed by the full faith and credit of the United States Government through National Credit Union Administration, a U.S. Government Agency.
If you are called regarding your Debit / Credit Card the scammers state that your card has been LOCKED / DEACTIVATED and to call:
DO NOT call them. This is a scam and they will ask for your 16 digit account number. If our company calls you they already have your account number. If you have any questions before you give out any personal information contact us and we will check it out.
